7. Prompt Guide

Getting Started

  1. Download the latest daverossiglobal_project.zip
  2. Create a new Chat (for example New Meet Dave Page).
  3. Copy the Start a Page prompt below into a text editor.
  4. Replace all [placeholders] with your own page information.
  5. Upload daverossiglobal_project.zip into the new chat.
  6. Paste the completed prompt into the same chat.
  7. The assistant will inspect the project, locate the templates and begin creating your page.

Create a New Page

Start a page

Create a page called [Page Title] using the [Template Name] template. Page slug: [page-slug] Only create content inside the marked content area. Do not change the header, footer, navigation, global stylesheet links or template structure. Use the new Dave Rossi Global style: • Dark cinematic background • Serif headings • Clean sans-serif body text • Gold accents • Strong spacing • Bootstrap responsive layout • Mobile-first design. • New pages must not include styling elements from outside of the template style sheets. • Be wary when mixing font colours---Use Dark text light backgrounds, Gold/White text on dark backgrounds. • Styling tips can be obtained from the dev home page @ https://dev.daverossiglobal.com/. Use the uploaded daverossiglobal_project.zip file structure to create the download.zip containing new page html, override CSS and JS, save images in /assets. All new html pages created in /public . Please render the full suggested html/css page in the Chat window for review before giving me a download zip. The new html page must render locally from the downloaded zip. Please memorise the above and wait for my expected next content prompts.

Request edits

Please revise the page. Make the opening section more cinematic. Use a stronger h1 headline. Change the second section to Image Left + Text. Increase spacing between sections. Use gold accents only for the eyebrow text, button and divider lines.

8. Upload Guide

What to upload

Images

Upload source images and label their purpose: hero, portrait, background, card image, gallery, or quote.

Copy

Paste rough content, notes, headings, quotes, testimonials or article text directly into the chat.

References

Refer to existing pages when useful, for example “Use the heading style from the homepage”.

9. Rendering

Ask to render the full page

When you ask for a render, the assistant should show the complete page using the selected template, including the locked header and footer. Use renders to check spacing, image placement, typography and responsive behaviour before finalising.

Render the current page so I can review the full layout with header and footer.

10. Final ZIP

Request the handoff package

The final ZIP should be clean and ready for owner/developer inspection.

Finalise the page. Please check: - The requested template was used. - Only the marked content area was changed. - Headers, footers, navigation and sidebars are locked and unchanged. - Images are saved in the correct /assets/images/[page-slug]/ folder. - Custom CSS is in /assets/css/override.css. - Custom JS is in /assets/js/override.js. - The page is responsive. - The final ZIP is clean and ready for owner/developer inspection.

11. Locked Areas

Do not edit the website shell

Only the marked content area may be edited. The following must remain untouched unless the owner explicitly requests otherwise:
